What is Invisalign?
Invisalign in Noida is a unique and well-established form of orthodontic treatment that offers a virtually invisible and more comfortable alternative to traditional metal braces and retainers. It uses custom-made, clear plastic aligners to fit perfectly over your teeth and gradually move them into the desired position. Invisalign braces are also removable, allowing you to eat, brush your teeth, and floss as normal.
With THE DENTAL PORT Dental Specialist Practice’s Invisalign at affordable prices, we can help give you that beautiful smile in a hassle-free way.
How does Invisalign work?
These removable aligners are personalized to move teeth comfortably and with no dietary or activity restrictions.
We will discuss and tailor a customized treatment plan during your first visit. This session is called the Smile Assessment consisting of dental X-rays, photos, and digital scans.
Using the scan, we will customize a 3D treatment plan. This will depict the expected final position of your teeth and also give you an indicated timeline of your treatment duration.
The customized aligners or retainers will be made and delivered to our clinic.
You will receive your custom aligners, which you must wear daily. Each set of aligners must be replaced every 1 to 2 weeks.
You will visit us every 6 to 8 weeks (or as advised by the dentist) to check on your progress. We will also give you your next set of replacement aligners during these checkups.
Congratulations on completing your Invisalign treatment in Noida at THE DENTAL PORT! Make sure to wear your retainers to maintain your new smile.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
The length of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of teeth movement and it can only be determined by your dentist. It can range from 6 months to 24 months.
What Can Invisalign Fix?
THE DENTAL PORT Dental Specialist Practice provides affordable Invisalign treatments that are suitable for almost every teen and adult. A Smile Assessment at our Invisalign clinic can show you the results of using Invisalign braces even before starting the treatment.
Underbite: An underbite is when your lower teeth protrude farther than your upper teeth. The severity of the malocclusion ranges from mild and unnoticeable to severe and causes pain and biting or chewing issues.
Open Bite: An open bite is when your top and bottom front teeth do not properly align when you close your mouth, leaving an opening in the middle (anterior open bite). It is also called an open bite when your upper and lower back teeth do not connect when you close your jaws (posterior open bite).
Crossbite: A crossbite is when your upper and lower teeth do not properly align when you bite down. Specifically, it is characterized by the upper teeth sitting behind the lower teeth.
Protrusion: Also known as bucked teeth, protrusion is when your upper front teeth protrude or are angled outwards in such a way that they stick past your lower teeth.
Spacing: Diagnosed as diastema, spacing occurs when missing teeth do not cause gaps between your teeth. It can develop in between any teeth, but the spacing is more common and noticeable in the front teeth.
Crowding / Crowded Teeth: The opposite of spacing, crowding is when you do not have adequate space on your jaw for all your teeth. This causes the teeth to grow in unnatural and crooked positions.
Crooked Teeth: Crooked teeth refer to teeth that are misaligned. They can be caused by genetics, a misaligned jaw (malocclusion), and bad dental habits like thumb sucking, tongue thrusting, and facial injury. In severe cases, crooked teeth can lead to gum disease or even speech impediments.

Who Should Not Get an Invisalign?
People with gum diseases or cavities may need those issues to be treated first before undergoing Invisalign treatment. People with dental implants, bridges or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, and so on, may also not be eligible. However, as eligibility depends on many factors, one should consult a certified Invisalign orthodontist for a detailed assessment.
How Painful is Invisalign?
Compared to traditional orthodontic treatments, Invisalign is generally not painful. However, one can still experience temporary, mild discomfort when a new set of aligners is fitted.
Can Invisalign be used on baby teeth in kids?
Yes, Invisalign can be used for kids who still have baby teeth. It is beneficial in helping a baby’s permanent teeth to grow properly in place later on in life, as the position of a child’s baby teeth can determine where the adult teeth grow. It also helps to treat existing bite issues caused by poor oral habits such as thumb sucking.
