What is a Dental Implant?
The dental implant is an effective prosthetic solution for a lost tooth. It is a titanium fixture (6 to 26mm) that functions as a replacement for the “root” of a missing natural tooth. The dental implant serves as an anchor that is inserted into the jaw bone and helps hold the artificial teeth in place firmly with longevity.
Types of Dental Implants & Cost
Depending on the patient’s dental conditions, we specialize in three types of dental implants – conventional, immediate, and immediate loaded implants.
Conventional – It is suitable for anyone looking for a permanent restoration solution and can be performed for most types of bone conditions. It is done in two stages, usually in a gap of 3 to 6 months.
Immediate – We specialize in 1-day or same-day dental implants which are ideally placed at the same time when the teeth are extracted. It is ideal only for dental conditions where the jaw bone is in a good state. Bridges, dentures or crowns may or may not be placed at the same time.
Immediate Loaded – If the jawbone is in good condition, we also recommend immediately loaded implants wherein temporary or permanent bridges, dentures, or crowns are placed at the same time when the dental implant is embedded in the jaw.

Dental Implant Procedure - Key Steps
We take a comprehensive dental implant procedure to ensure better diagnosis, effective treatment, faster recovery, and long-lasting results. Here are the key steps we follow in performing a successful dental implant surgery:
Dental Implant Procedure
1. Consultation & Treatment Planning: Get into an initial consultation with Dr Suresh expert Implantologists who uses modern diagnosis procedures like X-ray, Model Analysis, Dental Scan or CBCT, and Occlusion Check. Based on the analysis, we will determine the most suitable dental implant surgery and digital smile design for you.
2. Dental Implant Placement :
Through a minor, single-sitting, minimally invasive surgery, the dental implant is fused or drilled into the jawbone with utmost precision. For pain management, we administer local anesthesia most safely.
3. Dental Crown or Temporary Prosthesis :
If you choose immediate loading on implants, we will place your braces, dentures, or crowns during the same sitting. However, that depends on your jaw condition. If you choose a traditional implant in case of poor jaw condition, we will allow the implant to heal for at least 3-6 months before we can make a seat for the crowns.
4. Post-surgery Follow-up:
After 7 days of the surgery, we recommend our patients to come for a follow-up and suture removal.
If your jaw condition is severely compromised and needs conventional dental implants, the following additional steps will be in place:
Are Dental Implants Safe?
Dental implants are 100% safe and proven effective for a wide range of dental conditions that result in lost teeth. We use only high-quality, biocompatible Titanium alloys that are certified and absolutely safe for the human body.
Who is a Suitable Candidate for Dental Implant?
An ideal candidate for a dental implant has good oral and general health. Adequate jaw bone is important to provide firm support to the implant. Since dental implants are intricately connected with the underlying bone and gum tissues, a suitable candidate has healthy gum tissues.
